Classic tattoos made in the heart of Hyattsville, MD

Whistle Stop Studio opened in June 2018.  After tattooing in the DMV area for over 20 years Shawn Brown and his wife Michelle believed Hyattsville, Shawn's hometown and the city they had lived in for for close to two decades, would be a great place to open a small classic style tattoo studio.  Ever expanding, Hyattsville manages to keep a small town feel and along with it's close knit community that is supportive of the arts as well as small and minority owned business, it made perfect sense.    

Whistle Stop Studio provides professional sterile tattooing using single use equipment in a clean, inclusive and friendly environment. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. 

We are located in the Hyattsville Arts District on the 2nd floor of the colorful SOHY Arts Building just steps away from Vigilante Coffee, Franklin's Brewery and General Store, Sangfroid Distilling, and Pyramid Atlantic.

Tattoos are by appointment. 

Must be 18 w/valid ID.
